However, for various reasons, the gift card may not be used. But with our Money Back Guarantee, you can be sure that the value will always go to the recipient of the gift:

If the gift card cannot be used within 3 years, we will pay the full value to the recipient's account. Simple and safe.

The guarantee is automatically included when you purchase a gift card at Givn.no. The only thing we require is that the recipient provides an account number when the money is to be paid out.

The guarantee applies to gift cards purchased after March 27, 2025 (the date the guarantee was introduced).

The guarantee applies to Givn's platform gift cards, for example "Givn Norge", "Givn Oslo", etc. Gift cards purchased directly from a restaurant (direct gift cards) are not covered by the guarantee.

The guarantee does not apply to corporate purchases. Due to practical challenges related to tax, we unfortunately cannot offer refunds on gift cards given as corporate gifts.
